How Do I Level the SW1?
Reset the Feet with the Rear Higher than the Front
- Set the rear leveling foot about 3 mm (1/8") out from the base.
- Set both front leveling feet about 1 mm (a bit under 1/16") out from the base.
- Place the cradle near to the left stop and release it. The cradle should swing to the front. If not, raise the rear foot and repeat until it does.
- Repeat step 3 near the right stop.
Adjust Right-to-Left Level
- Place the cradle in the middle and release it. If the cradle swings one direction, raise that side and repeat until it will settle in the middle.
Adjust Front-to-Rear Level and Fine-Tune
- Lower the rear foot all the way to the base.
- Place the cradle against either stop and release it. It should rest against the stop.
- Raise the rear foot until the cradle just begins to move away from the stop.
- The device should now be nearly level. Verify that the cradle remains nearly stationary when released in any position, and if not, fine-tune the leveling feet until it does.
