Device Selection and Settings

Basic Settings

If using more than one SW1 device, select the active device on the Settings page. The settings are stored by device.

For early SW1s, use the Release from setting when configuring the device for release from Left or Right . Current SW1s should always be set to “Left”. Viewed from above, “Left” is clockwise rotation of the cradle.

Change the Display resolution to your preference. This setting affects the primary moment of inertia result displayed on the Measure page. I recommend reporting swingweight in whole numbers and twistweight to 0.1 kg·cm².

Advanced Settings

The advanced settings are pre-set to reasonable values.

Settle for X sec. sets the time between the start of racquet motion and the start of measurement data collection.

Record for X sec. sets the duration of measurement data collection.

Wait for X sec. sets the duration to block a subsequent measurement. If a duration that is too short is used and several measurements are taken in succession, measured values may drift.
