How to Take a Measurement

Use these steps to take a measurement when instructed in the sections below.

  1. Navigate to the Measure page.
  2. If you want the measurement to be in a new Measurement Group , tap the (+) button at the bottom of the page.
  3. Place the phone in the cradle. Ensure that it is upright, fully seated, and secure.

  4. Press and hold the cradle against the spring stop that has an indicating arrow.

  5. Tap the Measure button.

  6. Release the cradle to record a measurement.
  7. When Stop appears in the button, stop the cradle.

Measure the Swingweight of a Racquet

  1. Install the handle against the rear wall of the cradle with the head oriented vertically (perpendicular to the ground).
  2. Take a measurement of the racquet.

Measure the Swingweight of a Pickleball Paddle

  1. Install the Pickleball Adapter for SW1 .
  2. Take a measurement of the empty adapter.
  3. Tap the Tare button to zero out the adapter.
  4. Install the handle of the paddle against the rear wall of the adapter with the face oriented vertically (perpedicular to the ground).
  5. Take a measurement of the paddle.

Measure the Twistweight of a Racquet/Paddle

  1. Install the Twistweight Adapter for SW1 .
  2. Position the collet in the adapter about halfway down.
  3. Take a measurement of the empty adapter.
  4. Tap the Tare button to zero out the adapter.
  5. Pull the collet back up to the top.
  6. Install the handle of the racquet/paddle into the adapter. The head/face should align with the length of the cradle.
  7. Use the same measurement technique as used during calibration to measure the paddle.
  8. To remove the racquet/paddle, pull it straight up.
