Initial Setup

Videos

Each section includes a video. I recommend watching the videos, as there is a lot of information to convey. If you’d prefer to watch on another device, it’s easy to find a playlist with all the videos on YouTube by searching for “briffidi getting started”. If you’re unable to view the videos, written instructions are included below.

You Will Need

  1. The SW1 and calibration rod.
  2. A compatible smartphone (more below).
  3. Approximately 4,000 (1.35 kg) 4.5 mm (.177 cal) steel BBs.

Install the App and Add Your SW1

  1. An Apple iPhone 7 or later is required.

  2. If necessary, install the Briffidi SW1 app from the Apple App Store.

  3. Open the app.

  4. Navigate to the Settings page.

  5. Tap the Device selector.

  6. Tap the Add Device button.

  7. Place the top of the iPhone near the decal on the front of the SW1.

  8. Dismiss the confirmation.

Fill the SW1 with BBs

  1. Unlock the cradle by sliding the locking part to the rear (current SW1s) or by removing the cradle stop (early SW1s).

  2. Disengage the spring and rotate the spring stops out.

  3. Remove the cradle support piece, if equipped (early SW1s).

  4. Remove the retention clip at the back of the SW1 and remove the cover.

  5. Fill the cavity with BBs to just below the level of the internal ribs.

  6. Replace the cover and reinstall the retention clip.

Initial Setup Complete

Move on to leveling the SW1.
